Post The Jedi Order Reply with quote
After the defeat of the sith, Daranek remained on Coruscant and founded his new jedi order.

Focusing on the light side of the force and learning all he could from holocrons, scrolls, and anything else that remained from the old jedi order, he constructed the order to the best of his abilities. Teaching that the light side of the Force was concerned with the ideals of good, benevolence, and healing. He also taught that followers of the light side should strive to live in harmony with the world around them, acting out of wisdom and logic rather than anger and hasty judgment.

Once the Jedi Order had enough members, Daranek formed the Jedi High Council. He appointed Kyle Katarn, Corran Horn, Jarred Vendal, Tuvin Laird, Garres Valenthor, and Kam Solustar to the Jedi High Council.

The Jedi High Council holds decision-making powers over the whole Jedi Order. Daranek has the power to overturn any decision The High Council makes, but being a member rarely does so. The power Daranek has will die with him.

Hierarchy:
1. Grand Master
2. Jedi Councilor
3. Jedi Master
4. Jedi Knight
5. Jedi Apprentice
6. Jedi Initiate

Training Structure:
When someone first shows desire to become a Jedi they must go before the Jedi High Council where they interview the person. If they are accepted the are given the rank Jedi Initiate. When this happens they move into the Jedi Temple and begin classes.

They are first given a test to gauge their IQ. After which they are given classes depending on their scores. Students who do not do well must take basic math classes and so on. Kam Solustar and Tionne Solustar watch over the Initiates and teach the Jedi philosphy. Other Jedi are regulars in all the classes though.

Once Kam and Tionne feel an initiate is ready to be an apprentice that person takes a test which gauge him in all that he has learned as an initiate. If the person passes they are given the rank of apprentice and are assign to a Jedi Master or Knight.

That person then shadows their master and learns from him or her personally. After the apprentice has proved himself to his master, the master may go before the High Council and request his/her apprentice be given the rank of Jedi Knight.

At this time the apprentice comes before the High Council where they simply talk of the Force. The High Council then decide of the test that the padawan must under go on his/her own. When the task is completed he/she returns to the High Council and awaits to know if he is given the rank.

I'd imagine that Daranek knows the general philosophy of the old Jedi order pretty well, but he probably has only a vague idea of the structure of the order itself.

Chris should be chiming in with more detail.

You have access to some limited information about the old Jedi Oder. You have a couple of holocrons, some scrolls and you found some information in the Museums and Archives left on Courscant. Pretty much you know most of the Orthodox Jedi views on the Force. But you're free to make changes as you see. You can read up on the other views and theories in Jedi history from that link. Feel free to ask away with any questions.

I'm guessing Daranek trained these guys first. What was Daranek's order like when it was only he and his students?

Got some bad new for you Pudge, at either 17 or 18 you went a level in "Jedi" correct?

And you took Force Training as the bonus feat for that level?
Force Training isn't a bonus feat.

Quick Suggestion if you want something that can replicate the effects: Force Boon, extra FP's so that you can get powers back and use them again.
